SPORTS & FITNESS
Adult Co-Ed Softball Team

Batter Up! Join our team for some great softball action on Tuesday evenings. For 5 weeks athletes and volunteers will practice and play softball. We might even have a game scheduled against Brookline. If you have a baseball glove, please bring it with you. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle. Volunteers needed.

When: Tuesdays, 6:00pm–7:00pm
Dates: July 7, 14, 21, 28 and August 4
Location: Lower Falls Community Center
Ages: 18 & up
Cost: $30 Newton Resident/$35 Non-Resident

Adult Twilight Swim

In the summer there is nothing like a refreshing swim after a long day at work. Come and take a dip or swim a few laps while catching up with friends.

When: Wednesdays, 6:00pm–7:00pm
Dates: July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5
Location: Crystal Lake, 20 Rogers Street, Newton Highlands
Ages: 18 & up
Cost: $30 Newton Resident/$35 Non-Resident

Newton Athletes Unlimited proudly supports the Newton Parks & Recreation Department’s therapeutic recreation programs. A forerunner in community-based therapeutic recreation, the Newton Parks & Recreation Department has been providing recreation and leisure programs to children and adults with disabilities for 45 years.

WELLNESS
Pups & Yoga

Come unwind and connect with adorable puppies in a program that is good for the mind and soul. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel as you will be doing yoga with your new four-legged friends. The program will also include a fun puppy related crafts project.

When: Monday, July 6, 6:00pm – 7:00pm

SPECIAL EVENTS
Island Luau Dance

It’s back! Get your Hawaiian shirts or grass skirts ready, as we will transport guests to a tropical island at this dance. Eat dinner before you come and know that we will have a Kona Shaved Ice Truck at the event for all to enjoy. DJ Mike Pride will be spinning the tunes and, of course, hosting a limbo contest.

When: Monday, August 3, 6:00pm–7:00pm
